Lunch is many "middle schoolers" favorite time of the day. It's the time for relaxing and talking to your friends without being told what to do. Of course there are still rules to follow and teachers walking around keeping an eye on everyone, but you're not stuck in a desk being lectured to for fifty minutes.
Everyone has those certain people they sit by and the certain people they try to stay away from. Though here at Woodland we have to stay with our halls, we still can sit with people from our hall that we're friends with.
Not a lot of people realize that we are lucky for just that. In some schools people have seats that are assigned to them daily. I don't know about you but I would not like having those at all. Think about it this way; what if you were stuck sitting in between two people that you cannot stand for the whole half hour your in lunch.
Another big part of lunch is the food. A lot of people see the cafeteria as the nastiest thing they've laid eyes on, but most of the people that do say that, also eat it daily.
Some people also bring in a lunch from home. There are lunches from sandwiches to soup to the dinner they had last night. Sometimes people bring in the strangest things but it's what feeds them for lunch.
There are also those different types of eaters. There are the people that don't eat anything at all. They tend to be the more insecure ones. The other type is those people who don't want to stop eating. They'll eat and eat during lunch until the last minute they have.
I think it's interesting to sit back and see all the different things and people there are during lunch.
